Better Together

Today I’m starting the year by meeting with several people to kickoff new communities of practice. Why? Because I know I don’t know everything and so many people around me have strengths and insights to give to a broader group.

I think we all know that deep down, we’re better together we are better when we’re part of an inspiring group, but the tyranny of the urgent gradually steals us away from things that help us grow. Community takes focus and patience. Sometimes you give and sometimes you receive. Not every interaction will be great, but over time there will be great interactions that can change the course of your life.

Honestly one of the most rewarding things I’ve done in my role of transformation leader has been launching these kinds of groups. It’s rewarding to grow and see people grow. Let’s keep community a priority this year!
